White Bass reproduce between March and May each year in waters that range from 54 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit. It is also a time when anglers can catch white bass until their muscles quiver from exhaustionĪs for White Bass behavior, the fish tend to avoid eating aquatic plants and focus on finding other organisms to eat. Then follow the females, fat-bellied with roe and anxious to find a partner with which to share these fish's peculiar mating process. First come the smaller males, looking for the right combination of depth and current where spawning can take place.
